TESTIMONIAL:

MEDIA STORY from Debi Stack

Cheese, nothin'.
Behold the power of networking!

An AWSA member in my area attended a local convention for work-at-home moms. There, she met a television news anchor from the local ABC affiliate. They struck up a conversation which led this AWSA member to mention me. Shortly after, the news anchor contacted me and ta-da!
During sweeps week, this ABC affiliate aired a 5-minute daily segment featuring yours truly. Later, this news anchor began hosting a radio program as well. Guess who she called for interviews? That original
AWSA member and me. This was fantastic exposure for our books and also led to some speaking gigs.

New AWSA member Laura Petherbridge shared the words of Larry Burkett that Christians have one enemy, and it's NOT other Christians. Scripture says that we shouldn't withhold something good if it's in our hand to give it (Prov. 3:27). Scripture also reminds us that there's nothing we have that we didn't first receive (1 Cor. 4:7). By pooling our media leads, we can stop reinventing the wheel and make better use of our time. And through all of our media endeavors, may our prayer be, "Lord, make us servants, not celebrities!"

We hope you will respond ASAP -- because we need your support to make this happen.
