Bio: Sabrina D. Black is the CEO and Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling Center, an outpatient mental health facility, which emphasizes spiritual values. She is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor and Certified Biblical Counselor with 14 years of experience in individual, family and group counseling. With degrees in psychology and counseling, Sabrina is adjunct faculty at Ashland Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University and for Christian Research and Development.
As an author, national and international speaker for conferences, retreats and workshops, Sabrina’s dynamic message of life’s struggles, temptations and triumphs challenges others to deal with the real issues of daily living. Sabrina is contributing author to the “Soul Care Bible” (Thomas Nelson, 2001), co-author of, “Prone to Wander: A Woman’s Struggle with Sexual Sin and Addiction,” (Infinity & Global Projects, April 2002); co-editor of, “Counseling in African American Communities,” (Zondervan, May 2002); the author of, “Can Two Walk Together? Encouragement for Spiritually Unbalanced Marriages,” (Moody Press, August 2002), co-author of “HELP! For Your Leadership,” (PriorityONE Publicaions, August 2003).
Sabrina lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband Warren Jose Black. She has one son and two grandchildren. She is an overseas Missionary and has been to Romania, the West Indies, and Africa teaching, preaching and reaching the masses with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
